The Bishop’s Lydeard Under 13’s football team has had a fantastic season and is set to play in the Cup Final against Middlezoy Mustangs on Sunday May 5th at Taunton Town’s Wordsworth Drive ground with kick off at 11:00 am.
They came out on top over Middlezoy Spitfires 3-1 in the semi-final, despite going a goal down. Trailing 1-0 at half time, the team rallied in the second half and goals from Jack Warren (2) and Darcy McCormick saw them through.
The team has shown great skill and determination throughout the season, and their hard work has paid off with a chance to compete for the Cup. The players, coaches, and supporters are all eagerly anticipating the match and are hoping for a victory.
The Cup Final promises to be an exciting and closely contested match, with both teams determined to come out on top. The Bishop’s Lydeard Under 13’s will be giving it their all, and with the support of their fans, they hope to bring home the Cup.
