TIVERTON BMX Club travelled to sunny Cornwall for round seven of the South-West Summer Series. Ryan O’Loughlin notched the club’s first win of the day, in the six and under class.

Another win followed for team-mate Josh Coppin in the seven-year age group.

Despite blowing a tyre at the end of the start hill, he still managed another first.

Eddie Moore followed in the ten-year-old age group, racking up another top spot for Tiverton, along with a well deserved eighth for Elliott Norrish in the same final.

Todd Rattue took second in the male 11 group and, despite a fall in his motos Josh Moore fought back to finish third in the male 12-year age group.

Robbi Knapton had to settle for eighth in the male 14 group, followed by Sam Hann in fifth in male 15-years round.

Ben Blake battled for third place, despite an arm injury in male age 16 group.

In the Male 25+ round, Ian Wheeler took second followed by a first in the cruiser 25-29 year group, rounding the day off nicely for the birthday boy. Christ Hibbert had to settle for seventh in the cruiser 40+ group.

Shannon Blake took fifth in the female 10-12 year group, with a fifth for Bethan Hallett, racing the boys in the male 13 group.

Mum, Paula also finished with a fifth in the ladies 25 and over category, while Elly Skinner bucked the trend for the ladies, with a first in the female 16 and over group.
