TIVERTON Town produced another encouraging display, despite going down 2-0 at home to Exeter City on Wednesday night.

The Yellows held their own in a goalless first half before Ryan Harley put the Grecians in front just after the break with a powerful free-kick. Harley then set up Craig McCallister for the second.

Last Friday, new-signing Jamie Densham netted both goals in the Yellows' 2-0 victory over Weston-super-Mare at Ladysmead.

Today (Saturday) Tiverton are away to Buckland Athletic and, next Tuesday, they travel to play fellow Mid Devon outfit Cullompton Rangers.

TIVERTON Town have been drawn at home to newly-promoted Truro City in the first round of the GX-sponsored Southern league Cup.

The big-spending Cornish side are facing their first season in the British Gas Business League after winning successive Toolstation League titles.

NEW-signing Alex Piper netted the only goal of the game in Willand Rovers’ 1-0 win over Witheridge last Saturday.
